Personalize Your General Settings

ClimaLinks offers customizable settings to enhance your personal experience on the platform. Follow the steps below to access and modify your general settings:

Accessing Your General Settings​

ClimaLinks allows you to customize measurement units, modify widgets, set operational timings, and more to tailor the platform to your needs.

1. Accessing Settings​

Click on the gear icon located at the bottom left of the ClimaLinks interface to open the Settings menu.

2. Navigating to General Settings​

In the Settings menu, the first page you'll encounter is General, where you can set your unit preferences and other general options.

Settings You Can Change​

1. Change Company Information​

Update your company's information, including:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Phone Number
  • Current Subscription Plan

Note: Ensure that all billing information is accurate and up-to-date.

2. Subscription Information​

Access key subscription details such as:

  • Forecast Length: How far into the future forecasts are available.
  • Number of Allowed Sites: The maximum number of sites you can manage.

3. Operation Information​

Define your operational schedule with the following settings:

  • Days: Select the days each user works.
  • Hours: Specify the working hours for each user.

Optional: These settings allow you to streamline your scheduling process by selecting relevant days and hours, ensuring that schedules align with your operational hours.

4. Choose Your Preferred Units​

Customize how measurements are displayed across the platform:

  • Pre-set Systems:

    • Metric
    • Imperial

  • Custom Preferences:

    • Select specific units for each measurement type to create a tailored experience.

5. Configure Your Widget Setup​

Enhance your dashboard with specialized widgets:

  • Sunrise/Sunset Indicator: Displays the times for sunrise and sunset.

Changes made in User Settings and General Settings are distinct:

  • User Settings: Modify your personal profile.
  • General Settings: Affect how you interact with and view data on ClimaLinks.
