Version 0.10.0 brings transformative updates to ClimaLinks, introducing a redesigned dashboard, clearer distinctions between sites and projects, better navigation via project-specific URLs, and key usability enhancements.

  • Dashboard Redesign: The dashboard is now the default home page, consolidating key metrics, project overviews, and a user presence tracker to monitor online collaborators and their activities.

  • Clearer Site & Project Structure: Accounts can now create unlimited sites (with lat/lon details), each serving as a distinct geographic location. Projects are tied to specific sites, ensuring better organization and scalability for multi-site users.

  • Improved Navigation with Project Tags: URLs now include project-specific tags, making it easier to move between projects. Notifications, tasks, and updates can now be precisely directed to the relevant project or item, streamlining workflows.

  • Advanced Campaign Navigation: Enhanced Campaign URL Logic for seamless transitions and encrypted project IDs for secure project management.

🎨 UI/UX Improvements​

  • Responsive Design Updates: Improved table layouts and optimized readability for dashboards and site location details across devices.

  • Navigation Simplification: Added a "Select Project" button for easier project switching and streamlined menu organization for multi-site management.

🗺️✨🔗 0.10.1 - Geo Points Clarity, Smoother Navigation, and UI Polish (April 6th, 2025)​

Version 0.10.1 focuses on enhancing clarity across the platform, refining navigation, and polishing the user experience in key areas like task management and settings.

🚀 New Features​

  • Clearer Terminology: "Site" is now "Geo Point": To better reflect its function as a specific geographical location marker, the term "Site" has been updated to "Geo Point" throughout the entire application, including settings, project management, and all related descriptions.

  • Improved Project Links & Navigation: We've updated how project links work in your browser's address bar. This change makes sharing links to specific projects more reliable and streamlines navigation between different project views.

  • Enhanced Task Template Selection: Choosing or creating a task template is now more intuitive. We've added a visual diagram to illustrate how templates relate to tasks and made the options clearer if you need to use the AI Assistant or manual input when a suitable template isn't found.

  • Smoother Task Loading on Overview: For projects with many tasks, the Overview page now loads tasks more efficiently, including a "Load More" button to view additional tasks without slowing down the initial page load.

  • Archived Projects View: You can now easily access and manage your archived projects via a dedicated view within the Settings > Projects page.

🎨 UI/UX Improvements​

  • Streamlined Settings Management (Geo Points & Projects): Added convenient "+" buttons for quicker creation of new Geo Points and Projects. When selecting an item from a list (like a Geo Point or Project), the list will now automatically scroll to ensure your selection is clearly visible.

  • Better Guidance on Climate Data Map: The map for selecting locations on the Climate Data page now provides clearer prompts for interaction and includes a "locked map" overlay after you've made a selection, indicating you need to specifically choose to select a new location.

  • Polished Dropdowns and Search: Improved the look and feel of various dropdowns and search components, including the user selection and general search fields.

  • Refined Campaign Forms: Minor visual adjustments to the Campaign creation and editing forms for better usability.

  • General UI Polish: Continued refinement of button styles, empty state messages, and overall visual consistency across the platform.
