  • Admin Role Management: Administrators now have the ability to assign or remove admin roles to other users directly from the team page. This provides better control over user permissions and enhances team management.
  • Email Team Members: Users can now email team members directly from the platform, facilitating better communication and collaboration within the team.
  • Improved Team Page: The team page has been revamped to provide clearer information about team members, their roles, assigned sites, and operational days. This enhancement aids in better team management and coordination.

  • Asset Optimization: Improved asset data refreshing, ensuring that asset information is always up-to-date.
  • User Interface Enhancements: Various UI improvements have been made across the platform, including clearer asset pages, better alignment in export options, and a more intuitive schedule tracker page.

Bug Fixes:

  • Forward Slash Error in Asset Names: Fixed a critical bug where the use of forward slashes in asset names caused errors in the response agent. Asset names can now include special characters without causing issues.
  • Overflow Bug in Team Page: Fixed an overflow bug that affected the display of the number of sites on the team page, ensuring all site information is properly displayed.
  • Email Self Bug: Corrected a bug that allowed users to email themselves, ensuring that emails are only sent to other team members.

General Enhancements:

  • Map Component Upgrades: Map components now include a new satellite image layer, providing more detailed geographic context.
  • Notifications and Settings: Improved the notifications and settings pages for better user experience and easier management of preferences.

🛠️🐞📈 0.8.1 - Bug Fixes, Climatology Feature, and UI Enhancements (September 28th, 2024)​

Version 0.8.1 brings important bug fixes, introduces a new climatology dataset feature, and includes several UI/UX improvements to enhance your experience with the ClimaLinks platform.

Bug Fixes:

  • Schedule Tracker Completion Button: Resolved a bug where the "Complete" button was missing in the schedule tracker if the scheduled item was in the past. Users can now mark past scheduled tasks as complete without any problems.
  • Export Schedule Restriction: Implemented a fix to prevent users from exporting a schedule unless there are actual scheduled items. This ensures that exports are meaningful and contain relevant data.

New Features:

  • Climatology Dataset Inclusion: Introduced a new climatology feature available to all accounts for a limited time. Users can now access the 1950-2022 averaged ERA5-Land climatology dataset at a super high resolution of 0.1 degrees. This dataset includes variables such as 2-meter temperature, dew point temperature, evaporation, and total precipitation, providing valuable historical weather insights.

Improvements:

  • Asset Log Tracker UI/UX: Enhanced the user interface and experience for the asset log tracker. Users can now include hyperlinks in their logs, which open in a new tab, facilitating better information sharing. Additionally, pressing the "Enter" key now submits a log entry, making it quicker and more efficient to submit multiple logs.
  • Removal of Unnecessary Pop-ups: Eliminated pop-up messages for not having assets or schedules in cases where these features were not accessible to the user, improving the overall user experience by reducing unnecessary notifications.
  • Security Enhancements: Implemented further security improvements to distinguish between standard and premium users, ensuring appropriate access levels and data protection.
