Changes to the Weather-Relations-Management Platform

🌍 0.4.0 - Expanded Availability and Enhanced Functionality (May 8th, 2024)

Version 0.4.0 broadens our geographic coverage and introduces significant functionality enhancements to improve user interaction and platform efficiency:

Functionality:

  • Introduced a three-tier lead-time system (5-15-30) to enhance user interaction by dynamically adapting the UI/UX based on selected service levels.
  • Improved availability from Eastern Ontario and Western Switzerland to now encompass all of North America and Europe, broadening our service reach and improving data relevance.
  • Users can now acknowledge all notifications at once with the new 'Read All' feature, simplifying the management of alerts and reducing screen clutter.

User Interface/User Experience:

  • Revamped the schedule tracker page to clearly indicate which scheduled items have already passed and enabled batch completion of tasks, significantly streamlining the user workflow.

Bugs:

  • Improved the snapping functionality in the Gantt chart, allowing for more accurate alignment with different timestamps, addressing previous inconsistencies.
  • Fixed misalignments in the task details view where the table elements did not correctly reflect the actual data, ensuring reliability and accuracy in task tracking.
  • Resolved an issue where notifications were incorrectly triggered without a state change, now ensuring that notifications are only received when there is an actual change in status.
  • Updated email templates so that the footer remains within the container across all devices, specifically addressing display issues previously encountered in Gmail mail apps.
  • Implemented better truncation logic to prevent awkwardness in display when asset names are unusually long.
  • Corrected a bug in the heatmap chart where the first day's timestamps were incorrectly stretched, now ensuring accurate representation of time intervals.
